TESTED IN EXTREME COLD

UP TO 2 MILLION FLEXES

The outsole has undergone rigorous flex testing to measure resistance and durability. Testing was conducted by flexing the boot up to 2 million times at a 45-degree flexing angle in controlled temperature environments as low as -60°C. The GLACIUS™ collection passed the test with the outsole showing no signs of failure, a true testament to durability and performance!

HIGH-PERFORMANCE THERMAL LINER

LONG-LASTING COMFORT & TRUE-TO-SIZE

The true-to-size inner liner found in the GLACIUS™ collection is the latest evolution in winter safety footwear—the perfect combination of thermal protection, long-lasting comfort and durability. Easily removable and washable, the abrasion-resistant liner is equipped with a waterproof EVA outsole that can be worn independently off the job site, offering a practical option for transitioning environments. Additionally, the liner offers a wide pull loop for easy on and off, flexible elastic bands for a snug and secure fit that minimizes air gaps for improved thermal performance.

PROVEN THERMAL PERFORMANCE

RATED FOR -60°C ENVIRONMENTS

Our GLACIUS™ collection is engineered to provide remarkable cold-weather defence and capabilities, delivering thermal protection designed to withstand the harshest -60°C environments. The GLACIUS™ collection undergoes rigorous and controlled laboratory testing, subjecting the boots to the most demanding conditions, leaving no room for compromise and thermal protection that will keep your feet warm and comfortable in the most frigid conditions.

STEP 1

FOOT REPLICA HEATED

To simulate the heat generated during activity, a foot replica moulding is warmed using electricity to maintain a surface temperature of 27°C and is inserted inside the boot.

STEP 2

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE REDUCED

The boot is then placed into a temperature-controlled chamber where the ambient temperature gradually decreases. Six embedded thermal sensors continuously monitor and measure the temperature of the foot moulding.

STEP 3

COMFORT LIMIT ACHIEVED

The comfort limit is achieved when the electrical power needed to maintain the six embedded sensors at a temperature of 27°C exceeds 262.5 W/m².

THERMAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS

The thermal comfort limit of our GLACIUS™ collection, through rigorous laboratory testing, was achieved when the ambient temperature inside the temperature-controlled chamber was below -60°C, ensuring reliable thermal protection even in the most frigid environments.
